RIGA, LATVIA (November 6, 2026) — proportfolio.pro, a free international platform for photographers, videographers, models, make-up artists, stylists and photo studios, has launched. Created by Latvian photographer Andrejs Zavadskis, who has more than 20 years behind the camera, it publishes portfolios so they get found by people, by Google Images and by the new generation of AI search engines.

Why it was built

In 2026 the biggest problem for a creative professional is not the camera and not the craft — it is visibility. A photographer's work lives on Instagram, where nobody finds it three days later; a personal website costs money, goes stale and never gets updated; and the client who needs a "wedding photographer in Lisbon" or a "product photographer in Berlin" is searching on Google — and, increasingly, asking ChatGPT, Perplexity or Claude.

"I am a photographer myself, and I kept seeing the same thing: our work is beautiful, but invisible. Instagram swallows it, websites sit empty, and the client ends up with whoever is best at advertising rather than whoever is best at photography," says Andrejs Zavadskis, creator of proportfolio.pro. "I wanted a place where a creative uploads their work once, and from then on the platform does the work for them — every day, every night. Your portfolio works even while you sleep."

The problems it solves

1. Work that nobody can find. Every image on the platform gets its own public page with a title, author, category and description — exactly what Google Images rewards. The platform automatically writes image descriptions with AI (invisible to the author, visible to search engines), maintains an image sitemap and publishes structured data about the author and copyright, so the photographer's name appears next to the picture in search results.

2. The age of AI search. proportfolio.pro is built to be read and cited by AI search engines. The platform's own statistics show it being crawled regularly by OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, Meta and other AI systems — hundreds of thousands of visits a month. When a client asks a chatbot to "recommend a photographer for product photography", there is now a real chance the answer includes a proportfolio author.

3. Administrative chaos. Creatives lose time and money not behind the camera but in Word documents — quotes, contracts, invoices. On the platform all of this lives in one place and is unlocked with points earned through activity.

4. Competitions nobody hears about. Dozens of free photography competitions with serious prizes run every month around the world, but the information is scattered. The platform collects, verifies and presents them in a single calendar.
