Campus Writers Given Global Platform With New London Media Opening of Campus Desk

New London Media ("NLM"), the independent global newsroom, has opened its Campus Desk, giving student writers a real newsroom byline and a worldwide audience for the stories happening on their own campuses.
College and university students can now apply to become Campus Reporters. Approved writers publish press releases, news, and articles under their own name, with every piece reviewed by an editor and given its own search-built page and an author profile that collects their work. The desk covers campus life, research, athletics, culture, and the local stories larger outlets routinely overlook.
Student journalists have long been limited to a handful of campus-paper slots or assignments that never leave the classroom. NLM's Campus Desk removes that ceiling, handing students published, editor-reviewed clips they can carry into internships and careers, on a platform that reaches far beyond the quad.
The process is straightforward. Students apply through the newsroom, an editor reviews each application, and approved Campus Reporters carry the title on their byline and author page. Their stories are grouped under the newsroom's U.S. desk and shared across search and social.
